About this service
Transporting motorcycles, scooters and quads calls for a completely different approach from carrying a car on a tow truck. A bike does not stand up on its own, its paint, plastics and chrome are exposed, and its suspension does not take kindly to being strapped fully compressed for hours. That is why we carry motorcycles upright, on specialist mounts designed for exactly this purpose.
The front wheel is locked into a dedicated chock that holds the bike vertical without leaning it against anything, and the machine is stabilised with soft-loop straps anchored to the handlebars and frame, never to plastic parts. The suspension is therefore not held at full compression for the whole journey, and the paintwork and fairings never touch the straps or the trailer wall.
We carry road, sports and touring motorcycles and choppers, scooters of any capacity, motocross and enduro bikes, as well as quads and four-wheeled ATV and UTV machines. We also handle non-running and accident-damaged vehicles that will not start or have no working brakes - these need the loading method agreed beforehand, so please mention it when asking for a quote.
Most bookings come from people who have bought a motorcycle abroad or sold one to another country and would rather not cover several hundred kilometres in the saddle - particularly out of season, on an unfamiliar new machine, or on one without current registration. We collect the bike from the address you give us and deliver door to door.
We also handle seasonal and fleet movements: bikes to and from servicing, rental fleets moved between locations, and machines delivered to rallies, events and track days. Where several bikes travel at once we agree terms individually, and regular customers are offered a repeating run schedule.
Motorcycles, scooters and quads go mainly to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France, and on request to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. We confirm the expected delivery date before collection and document the condition of the vehicle at loading, so there is no doubt about the state it travelled in. We have been running the company since 2014.
