About this service
Building materials transport is one of our core services on the Poland-Europe route. We handle both one-off orders for private customers and regular, repeat deliveries for contractors running sites abroad. Every job is quoted individually, because the cost depends not only on distance but also on dimensions, weight and how the load has to be secured.
Most often we carry windows and doors - single units as well as the complete joinery for one building - along with plasterboard, OSB panels, steel and aluminium profiles, mineral wool, polystyrene and finishing materials such as flooring, trims, fittings and construction chemicals. We also take awkward loads: long profiles, worktops, stairs and structural elements that a standard courier will refuse on account of their length or shape.
Customers usually come to us when they are buying in Poland because it is cheaper or immediately available, but have no way of getting the goods to the site. We collect straight from the wholesaler, builders' merchant or manufacturer - including cases where the order has to be placed at several different suppliers - and deliver everything to a single address.
We deliver directly to the building site, provided it is reached by a hardened road a delivery vehicle can actually use. That condition matters: on churned-up, soft ground a loaded vehicle cannot get close or unload safely. Where access is difficult we agree the nearest workable unloading point in advance, so it does not become a surprise on the day.
The delivery slot is fitted around the work schedule rather than the other way round. We confirm the expected time window before setting off, so the crew on site knows when to be there to unload instead of losing a day waiting. On larger jobs we split the delivery into stages, so materials arrive in the order they are actually needed and do not clutter the site.
Loads are secured with ratchet straps, and fragile items - glazing, frames, worktops - additionally with spacers and wrapping, so nothing shifts or rubs in transit. We have been running the company since 2014 and in that time have handled everything from a small delivery to a flat being renovated to supplying sites that ran for months.
We deliver building materials mainly to sites in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France, where most of our customers work, and on request to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. For international shipments we help assemble the transport documents and invoices needed to take delivery on site, and regular customers get individually agreed terms and run frequencies.
